For optimal results, it’s recommended to wash your hair 1-2 days prior to coloring. Avoid excessive dirt, sweat, or oiliness, as they can interfere with the coloring process. Contrary to popular belief, dirty hair doesn’t enhance color absorption. However, it’s beneficial to have a natural protective oil layer on your scalp to act as a barrier against the chemicals in the hair dye, ensuring a gentler experience for your hair and scalp.
